The Life of Frances B. McAllister
The Life of Frances B. McAllister
After making Flagstaff her forever home in the 1960s, Frances McAllister had a huge impact on our little mountain town. Frances owned hundreds of acres of forested land along Woody Mountain Road, some of which became The Arboretum at Flagstaff in the 1980s. The Arboretum, the Museum of Northern Arizona, Lowell Observatory, NAU, and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra all benefited from her philanthropy and leadership. Come hear about the life of this remarkable woman, as told through her own journals.
Presented by Ellen Wade, Secretary of the Board for the Arboretum at Flagstaff
