They/Them film screening and Q&A

They/Them film screening and Q&A

They/Them follows Lor, a trans climber, into the sandstone canyons of northern Arizona, on a journey to piece together one of the hardest and most inspiring routes of their life. By embracing the strength in vulnerability, Lor has found the space to thrive and build a climbing community that others like themself can call home. For Lor Sabourin, climbing is more than a sport; it’s a way of exploring identity and building resilience in the face of adversity.

Coconino Center for the Arts is honored to be partnering with Flagstaff Pride to host a screening of They/Them, the screening will be followed by a Q&A with Lor Sabourin and filmmakers Justin Clifton and Blake McCord.

Content Warning: This film includes discussions of eating disorders, body dysphoria, self-harm, sexual assault, and suicide. While we have done our best to explore these topics conscientiously, remember that we are looking through the lens of a single person’s experience.
