Bridget A. Lyons is a writer, editor, explorer, and artist whose book, Entwined: Dispatches from the Intersection of Species, was published this summer by Texas A & M University Press.

A graduate of Harvard University, Bridget holds an MFA from Northern Arizona University and has had previous lives as a wilderness guide, yoga instructor, middle school teacher, energy bar maker, and graphic designer.

These days, she helps other writers prepare their literary babies to be birthed into the world and spends a lot of time communing with creatures while surfing, trail running, and mountain biking. Bridget’s award-winning essays have appeared in Crazyhorse, The Common, Flyway, Chautauqua, Catamaran, Cold Mountain Review, Tahoma Literary Review, and other journals.
