'This Is Spinal Tap' Worldwide Event

'This Is Spinal Tap' Worldwide Event
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to join theaters around the world for a global theatrical event: “This Is Spinal Tap” — the 41st anniversary — July 5-7 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
Created by Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, “This Is Spinal Tap” chronicles England’s loudest and most punctual band on their disaster-filled U.S. tour.
"This Is Spinal Tap" shines a light on the self-contained universe of a metal band struggling to get back on the charts, including everything from its complicated history of ups and downs, gold albums, name changes and undersold concert dates, along with the full host of requisite groupies, promoters, hangers-on and historians, sessions, release events and those special behind-the-scenes moments that keep it all real.
Experience the remastered, remixed, and definitive version of what can only be described as a mockumentary masterpiece. Only in theatres this summer.
“This Is Spinal Tap” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre July 5-7. Showtimes will be Saturday and Monday, July 5 and 7 at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 6 at 4:00 p.m.
Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
