Join us or a rare opportunity to enjoy sunset and moonrise from a trail overlook and return by the light of the moon while learning about the natural world and Sedona area. The program lasts 2.5 hours and covers a distance up to 2.5 miles.
Registration begins on September 8, 2025. A $20 registration fee per person is required for this after-hours program. All participants must bring a flashlight and water. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Reservations must be made prior to the date of the event. Call Red Rock State Park at (928) 282-6907 to reserve your spot.

Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center. This walk is included with your park entry fee.

Want to learn to knit? Need help with a knitting project?
Members of the Fiber Artists of Northern Arizona Guild (FANA) will be available in the Downtown Library's Northwest Corner to teach beginners how to knit and help knitters who are stuck on a project.
Bring any supplies you have. We’ll also have extra supplies to get you started.
All skill levels welcome!
