Paradise Valley Community College is offering a class in which students will work on actual cold cases under the guidance of a retired police lieutenant. No prerequisites or special knowledge is required to take the class, AJS 198AF: Special Topics in the Administration of Justice (https://tinyurl.com/AJS198). Class meetings are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30am - 12:10pm, beginning September 16 and going until December 13, at the PVCC Union Hills Campus, 18401 N. 32nd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Want to learn to knit? Need help with a knitting project?
Members of the Fiber Artists of Northern Arizona Guild (FANA) will be available in the Downtown Library's Northwest Corner to teach beginners how to knit and help knitters who are stuck on a project.
Bring any supplies you have. We’ll also have extra supplies to get you started.
All skill levels welcome!

Join us the first Wednesday of the month, for an evening of games! There will be a wide collection of board games and card games at your disposal. We will have a selection of games available, and sometimes players bring their own as well to play with others.Come bring friends, co-workers, and/or family for a night of fun. Learn to play a new game or play an old favorite. The possibilities are endless!

Join us or a rare opportunity to enjoy sunset and moonrise from a trail overlook and return by the light of the moon while learning about the natural world and Sedona area. The program lasts 2.5 hours and covers a distance up to 2.5 miles.
Registration begins on July 10, 2025. A $20 registration fee per person is required for this after-hours program. All participants must bring a flashlight and water. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Reservations must be made prior to the date of the event. Call Red Rock State Park at (928) 282-6907 to reserve your spot.
