Flagstaff, AZ – Northern Arizona Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick returned this week from a trip to Afghanistan. She was part of a bi-partisan group of women representatives who wanted to spend Mother's Day with troops in Kandahar. She told Arizona Public Radio's Daniel Kraker she also wanted to get an up-close look at the ongoing war.
