Arizona Snowbowl Closes To Curb Spread Of COVID-19

Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort near Flagstaff has decided to suspend operations until further notice over concerns about the spread of the new Coronavirus.

Snowbowl officials voluntarily made the decision to suspend operations when the lifts closed Tuesday.

The Snowbowl says if you have pre-purchased a ticket, lesson, or rental, please send an email to with your confirmation number in the subject line of the email.

Officials say it may take a little time to respond to the emails.

Snowbowl Road also has been closed as a safety measure.
