Mohave County’s Department of Public Health has confirmed the first positive case of COVID-19 in the Lake Havasu City area.

Officials say the individual, an adult, is not hospitalized at this time and is recovering at home.

Mohave County health officials say staff members will interview close contacts of the individual and recommend that each person monitor for symptoms and quarantine themselves for 14 days, based on the risk of exposure.

As of early Wednesday, there were 326 Coronavirus cases in Arizona.
