New Mexico PBS Stations To Broadcast Class Lessons To K-5 Students During Virus Outbreak

Three public television stations in New Mexico Monday will begin broadcasting class lessons for students in grades K-5 during the spread of Coronavirus.

PBS stations in Portales, Albuquerque and Las Cruces are participating in the broadcasts.

The Albuquerque school district will provide four hours of instruction each weekday morning. The daily lesson plans will be broadcast each day, and they will then be available later for individual “on-demand lessons on New Mexico PBS stations.

New Mexico had 624 known cases of Coronavirus and at least 12 deaths as of Sunday. Meanwhile, Nevada had 1,836 known cases of Coronavirus and 46 deaths as of Saturday.
