Officials with the Tonto National Forest and U.S. Forest Service say a brush fire in the Sycamore Canyon area is 100% contained.
Authorities say the Roma Fire covered nearly two acres.
Fire crews will remain on scene Monday to patrol the fire, reinforce containment lines, and extinguish hot spots.
The fire is located on FS Road 403, 2.8 miles in from the Bush Hwy/Hwy 87 intersection, in the Lower Sycamore Canyon area.
The blaze remains under investigation at this time. Forest Service officials at the Tonto National Forest said on their facebook page Monday morning this fire is a strong reminder that fire season is upon us.
