Beginning today, the city of Sedona will require face coverings to be worn in public places and private businesses when physical distancing isn't possible, in an attempt to slowt he spread of coronavirus.
The mandate applies to people five years of age and older. Additionally, businesses whose employees interact with the public must require employees to wear face coverings.
Exempt from the mandate are people who cannot wear a face covering because of a medical or mental health condition or developmental disability, and those who are unable to use a face mask without assistance.
