Biden Poised To Gain Arizona's 11 Electoral Votes As Count Nears An End

As the vote count in Arizona nears it end, President-elect Joe Biden appears to be on the verge of securing enough popular votes to win Arizona’s 11 electoral votes.

On Wednesday, Biden’s lead over President Trump narrowed to 11,537 votes. But according to the Arizona Capitol Times, Trump would have to win nearly 75% of the remaining 25,000 votes left to be counted in order to pull ahead.

Several news outlets including the AP have called Arizona for the Democrat. A recount in the state is only triggered if the race is within 200 votes. The last time Arizonans elected a Democratic presidential candidate was for Bill Clinton’s second term in 1996.
