The Coconino County Board of Supervisors has certified the results of the Nov. 3 election.

According to County Recorder Patty Hansen, the vote to canvass the results was unanimous among supervisors. The county’s certification will now be sent to the Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs' office for the statewide canvass. Turnout among registered voters in Coconino County was 81 percent for the election.

The Arizona Republican Party had pressured some county officials in the state to delay their election certifications, but Hansen says she wasn’t contacted by the party. President-elect Joe Biden won Coconino County by more than 60 percent.
