Arizona Regents Invite Two Candidates To Interview For NAU President

NAU

The Arizona Board of Regents has invited two candidates to interview for the position of 17th president of Northern Arizona University.

The board conducted a nationwide search after current President Rita Cheng announced last year she would step down.

The regents will consider José Luis Cruz who serves as the vice chancellor and university provost at the City University of New York. They'll also interview with Bret Danilowicz, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Florida Atlantic University.

Regent and co-chair of the search advisory committee Fred DuVal called the candidates “stellar leaders in higher education.”
