Sedona Lifts COVID-19 Emergency Declaration

visitsedona.com

Sedona officials have dropped the city’s emergency declaration put in place in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Mayor Sandy Moriarty, ongoing vaccination efforts and low case rates have allowed a loosening of regulations. Masks will no longer be required in city buildings and on public transportation.

The city of Flagstaff has lifted its mask mandate and Coconino County will lift its order June 1st. However, many businesses may still require masks to enter.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently updated its guidance for vaccinated people.
