Coconino County Sheriff asks for public's help in locating missing person, 64-year-old Walter McCassalin

Coconino County Sheriff's Office

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

64-year-old Walter McCassalin was last week November 4th on foot at the Kelly Canyon exit off Interstate 17 near Flagstaff. He was dropped off by his son who said his father had plans to visit friends in the area. Those friends later confirmed they had no plans to meet McCassalin and had not seen or heard from him.

He is described as a white male, 6’0”, 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a t-shit, possibly maroon in color, blue jeans and white sneakers. He uses a rope as a belt.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts or well-being is urged to contact the Coconino County Sheriff at 928-774-4523, or call 9-1-1.
