Arizona Reports 600 New Know COVID-19 Cases, No Recent Deaths

Arizona health officials Monday reported more than 600 new known cases of COVID-19 in the state and no recent deaths.

According to the Department of Health Services, more than 3 million vaccine doses have been administered to Arizonans and about 17% of the state’s population is fully vaccinated.

Overall hospitalizations and COVID patients in intensive care have dropped since Arizona’s pandemic high in January.

Nearly 17,000 people in the state have died from the virus since the beginning of the pandemic more than a year ago and more thsan 840,000 Arizonans have tested positive for the virus.
