Coconino County Reports Second COVID-19 Case

Coconino County Health officials say there has been a second presumptive positive test for COVID-19.

Officials with the county say they’ll know more after they investigate who the patients have been around.

Marie Peoples is the incident manager for COVID-19 response.

“We’ll learn that as we work with the individual cases that have tested positive and as we go through and ask ‘Have you traveled?’ or ‘Have you been in contact with someone else that tested positive?’”

Coconino County says it has tested more than 150 people so far. And it anticipates finding more undiagnosed cases of COVID-19 as the number of tests conducted continues to grow.
