Golden Valley Drinking Water Expected To Return Early Next Week

bkassets.com

About 500 homes in Golden Valley near Kingman are without water for the fourth day as officials scramble to repair a well after it failed.

They say a new pump motor will be installed this weekend and they expect the well to be back online early next week. Mohave County has hired a company to haul water to residents and has bottled water available for pickup.

Residents are also asked to boil water that does come from taps because pressure loss could create fecal contamination and other disease-causing organisms in the water. Affected residents can call the Golden Valley Improvement District for more information at (928) 757-0914.
