Navajo County Declares State Of Emergency Due To Flooding

The Navajo County Board of Supervisors has declared a State of Emergency due to localized flooding. The county has activated an Emergency Operations Center and will be sending updates through social media platforms, primarily the Navajo County Emergency Management and Preparedness page, https://www.facebook.com/NavajoCountyEM.

Areas most affected by flooding include the White Mountain Lakes area, Linden, Lakeside and Heber. Road closures include sections of Silver Creek Drive and Silver Creek Blvd. Sandbag stations are operating at the Navajo County Mogollon Complex in Heber, behind the Heber fire station, in Show Low near the former Pet Allies location, Round Valley Road Yard, Vernon Fire District, and in Pinetop at Mountain Meadow Recreation Park. Members of the White Mountain Apache Tribe may request sandbag delivery by calling 928-338-1504 or 928-338-1505.
