Sinema Remains Silent On How She Will Vote On Impeachment

simple.wikipedia.org

Arizona U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema has refused to say how she will vote in President Trump’s impeachment trial which is grinding toward its climax.

Political observers say Sinema is among three Democratic Senators whose vote on impeachment remains unclear.

Senators Doug Jones of Alabama, Joe Manchin of West Virginia are the other two Democrats who pundits say could vote either way.

A two-thirds vote of the Senate is required for convicting and removing President Donald Trump, and pundits say that seems all but impossible in the Republican-controlled chamber.

Observers say the decisions of the three senators in question will most certainly affect their political careers and could also help color Trump's reelection bid this year.

Arizona Republican U.S. Senator Martha McSally has said she "hasn't been convinced" President Trump should be impeached.
