Gwen Waring is a painter, writer and ecologist based in Flagstaff, AZ. A great love of natural history keeps her working to understand the way things work on the Colorado Plateau. She has written several books on regional natural history, as well as a column called Nature Notes for the Arizona Daily Sun. The columns are currently being configured into a book that will be released in 2024.

Robert Larkin began hanging around underground radio stations at an early age, and after a military stint that launched a healthcare technology management career, returned to radio and worked at several top stations in the New York area -- including rock and roll at WNEW-FM, news and sports at WNEW-AM, blues and jazz at WBGO, the nationally-syndicated sketch comedy “Hub City Spoke Repair,” and the pioneering rock alternative, WHTG-FM106.3. Now he’s enjoying that same variety of programming working the weekends here at Arizona Public Radio, KNAU.
