Midwest Recovering from Sunday's Tornadoes
At least 10 people were killed -- and 40 injured -- in the Midwest after a series of tornadoes swept across the Midwest. The bulk of the deaths occurred in Missouri. Crews assessing the damage Monday say it is remarkable more people weren't hurt.

Quake Near Tonga Prompts Mild Tsunami
A magnitude 8.0 earthquake struck early Thursday near the South Pacific nation of Tonga, prompting tsunami warnings for as far away as Fiji and New Zealand. The warning was lifted after a tsunami of less than 2 feet was recorded.
Arizona Legislature passes 2 bills to curb transgender rights
The bills would prohibit gender reassignment surgery for minors and ban trans athletes from playing on girls sports teams. Republican Gov. Doug Ducey has not said whether he will sign either bill.
