Yavapai County Community Health Services

Health officials have confirmed the first measles case in Yavapai County this year. Members of the public were possibly exposed at four locations in Prescott and Prescott Valley between July 3-8.

Samples from the Sedona Wastewater Treatment Plant tested positive for the measles virus. That indicates that at least one person with a recent infection has been in the area.
