Bridging Generations Presentation: Tradition, Knowledge, and New Paths in Conservation in the Southwest

Explore Arizona through the eyes of eight college students as they complete an immersive and intense 4-day aerial exploration from the Colorado River’s confluence in the Grand Canyon to southern Arizona’s Copper Corridor district.

EcoFlight proudly marks the 20th anniversary of its Flight Across America (FLAA) program with a transformative educational journey through the American Southwest. This milestone year brings together a select cohort of eight exceptional college and graduate students, together with Traditional elders and environmental experts from across diverse disciplines such as water policy, mining impacts, and Traditional Indigenous Knowledge.

The presentation at Coconino Center for the Arts will close out the 20th Flight Across America expedition, showcasing what is possible when you build relationships and discover a new perspective.
