Chamber Music Sedona is thrilled to open its 43rd concert season with “Violin of Legend” on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center.
Experience an unforgettable afternoon featuring acclaimed violinist Benjamin Beilman and pianist Gloria Chien for a program centered around one of the world’s most legendary instruments: the 1740 “Ysaÿe” Guarneri del Gesù violin. With a sound described as “pure poetry,” Beilman’s expressive artistry and commanding presence promise to bring this storied violin to life in breathtaking fashion. Joined by Chien, a celebrated pianist known for her sensitivity and brilliance, this recital will blend passion, virtuosity, and historical resonance into a powerful musical experience. Benjamin Beilman, Violin-
Internationally acclaimed violinist Benjamin Beilman has performed with top orchestras worldwide and at venues like Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall. A champion of contemporary music, he has premiered works by Frederic Rzewski and Gabriella Smith and received honors including an Avery Fisher Career Grant.
Gloria Chien, Piano-
Pianist Gloria Chien, praised by The Boston Globe as an artist “who excels in everything,” performs with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and at major venues worldwide. She co-directs leading chamber music festivals and is a Steinway Artist and Artist-in-Residence at Lee University.
