Living and Working WaterSmart: Water Conservation Opportunities that Support Prescott’s Long Term Water Resource Management
On Saturday, October 11, Tracie Beasley, Water Resources Project Manager at the City of Prescott will discuss water conservation’s role in long-term water resources planning, ways the City can encourage conservation in the local community, and the City’s rebate/grant water conservation partnership with the Friends of the Verde River.
Tracie will also discuss how local residents can conserve water through rainwater harvesting, and indoor and outdoor rebate opportunities for Prescott water customers. Tracie will bring free water conservation items offered by the City of Prescott. Please join us for this important presentation.

The presentation will begin at 10 a.m. There will be coffee and snacks at 9:45 a.m. for informal conversations before the program. About CWAG: Founded in 2002, the mission of the Citizens Water Advocacy Group is to protect the flow of the upper Verde River and to protect the long-term water supply for the Quad Cities region. CWAG develops science-based positions on critical water issues and educates citizens and elected officials on sensible water policies.
About the Speakers: Tracie has been with the City of Prescott as a Water Resources Project Manager since September of last year. Her role includes leading the water conservation program, supporting long term water resource planning and assisting with permits and customer inquiries regarding water availability. Tracie holds a BS in biology and marine science, as well as an MS in environmental resource management and environmental education. Water conservation and science related work has been a constant throughout her career. Tracie is excited to apply her passions and skills here in the greater Prescott community.
