Sit back, relax and enjoy an evening of peaceful meditations and an inspiring talk. Whether we feel burdened by life or live each day lightly and worry-free, very much depends on how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. The practice of meditation enables us to live with an increasing sense of ease, peace and lightness of being, free from the normal worries and stress we can all get stuck in sometimes. These meditation classes will teach you how to bring clarity and lightness to your life and experience an inner freedom that will bring happiness and benefit to both yourself and others.

Discover the real freedom to be found in a calm and quiet mind; escape the busyness of daily life; experience a short introductory silent meditation retreat and gain a deep level of relaxation.
During this retreat, you will learn three simple guided meditations that can be practiced by anyone. With regular practice, these meditations help us to experience mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on our mind itself.
In silence, we engage with the meditation object in a more intimate way. We stop ‘chatting’ about the Dharma from our mouth and start listening to the Dharma from deep within our heart which gives us a special inner experience of the teachings we receive. Penetrating insights arise and since we are able to hold onto them with firm mindfulness we find Dharma experience pervades and nourishes our heart at a very deep level.
Accommodations and meals available on premise.
Everyone welcome.

Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love, the annual event offers a huge selection of free titles designed to appeal to a broad range of age levels and their tastes.
Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage both curious, first-time comic book readers and seasoned comic book fans to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops. Each one is unique in its community, with a style and personality all its own, and each one carries a full line of comics, graphic novels, toys and related products. Local comic shops are the hubs of our community, where fans can come together to discover new comics, make lifelong friends, and find a sense of commonality.
We will be doing a food drive for the Flagstaff Family Food Center! So come in and get some free comics and donate food for Flagstaff, Arizona!
