Join Dr. Tylor Brand for a discussion of starvation as a weapon in colonial North Africa and the Middle East. He has a recent publication specifically on Lebanons Great war and famine. Brand is both a native Phoenician and an AZ Wildcat. He earned his doctorate at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, and now teaches in the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Studies at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
