Protecting the Upper Verde River: A Community Dialogue

Protecting the Upper Verde River: A Community Dialogue
The Upper Verde River, vital for clean water, wildlife, and natural beauty, is at risk due to increased groundwater pumping from agriculture, new wells, and development. A community workshop, led by Sierra Club Chair Gary Beverly, will address these threats through a presentation, group discussions, and end the day with actionable items including writing postcards to elected officials to advocate for protecting the Big Chino aquifer.
