Seventeen Strings: Mary Lou Prince & Sarah Walder Amata play music for cello, piano and koto (Japanese harp)

Composer and performer Mary Lou Prince studied with the esteemed composer Nadia Boulanger in Paris before moving to Japan for 24 years. Her compositions are accessible and beautiful, and reflect her deep connection with Japan as well as other influences such as Parisian jazz. An accomplished cellist, Sarah Walder Amata lived and performed in the Netherlands for 30 years before returning to the US. The dynamic collaboration between these exceptional musicians is not to be missed!
