Come help Flagstaff Open Space manage invasive weeds at Picture Canyon, to keep it the beautiful place that it is! Learn about invasive weeds, learn to identify them and the best ways to remove them, and help us spread native grass/flower seed to crowd out the invasives.

Join the Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, August 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center near Thorpe Park (245 N. Thorpe Rd.) to get your household item repaired and returned to life and kept of the landfill!
Our amazing volunteers can assist with repairs on almost anything, including electronics, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, and more, all for free! While appointments are recommended, they are not required.

The Coconino County Cooperative Extension Program trains Master Gardener volunteers to provide free science-based horticulture information to our community. This includes information on plant selection, insects, plant diseases, planting, pruning, irrigating, fertilizing, and more. This is a 16-week training. Help put waste in the right place!
Swing by Drop-Off Day on Saturday, October 24th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm at Coconino County Health & Human Services at 2625 N. King St. and put waste in the right place! The following items are accepted:
-Aerosol cans
-Batteries
-CFLs & LEDs
-Fluorescent tubes
-Expired or unwanted medications, vitamins, or supplements
-Medical syringes
-Electronics: computers, printers, flat-screen TVs, etc.
-Sensitive documents for onsite shredding (2 boxes/ person max)
