The "In the Living Room Music Series" continues its popular run at the Sedona International Film Festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
On Monday, April 27th at 7:00 PM, series creator Shondra Jepperson invites the community into the world of professional guitarist and innovator Brian David for an evening of elegant music and "behind-the-scenes" stories. The audience will have the opportunity to ask Brian questions during his concert.
A fixture in the Sedona wedding and private event scene for years, Brian David is known for his soulful, heartfelt touch on the classical guitar. Trained at Northern Arizona University, Brian has spent over two decades mastering a repertoire that spans classical, jazz, and pop. This "unplugged" session offers a rare opportunity to hear Brian share the personal stories behind his performances.
“Brian David brings an incredible level of grace and professionalism to our stage,” says moderator Shondra Jepperson. “We often see him providing the perfect atmosphere for life's most beautiful moments, and this series allows us to explore his journey from a student at NAU to becoming an innovator who actually invented a new piece of technology for the industry called the Wizzax, a revolutionary microphone. He’s a true modern-day musician-entrepreneur.”
Executive Director Patrick Schweiss added: “This series has become such a big hit because the audience is having a relaxed living room experience with the terrific diversity and talent Shondra is bringing to our stage, like Brian who balances beautiful classical artistry with a fascinating entrepreneurial spirit. Our audiences are truly engaged and having so much fun with the unique opportunity to ask questions during the concert.”
The "In the Living Room Music Series" is made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor Cleaner Quicker Car Wash, alongside concert sponsors Sefton Engineering, LaserGirl Skincare, and new national sponsor MoonBrew. This collaborative support ensures that 100% of the $20 ticket sales go directly to the performing artists and the Sedona International Film Festival.
In the Living Room Music Series featuring Brian David will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Monday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177 or online at www.SedonaFilmFestival.org. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.

Irish Night, a new addition to Charly's legendary musical array, will take place every Thursday, 7-9:30pm in Flagstaff's Weatherford Hotel. It features Wild World Irish Fiddle, a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all the dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, as Kate teaches simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. There may even be drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers. All ages are welcome, the food is tasty, the drinks are as unique as the historical venue itself. facebook.com/KateRoseWildIrishFiddle wildirishfiddle@gmail.com 928-380-8489
