The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Heads or Tails?” showing April 17-23 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.
John C. Reilly stars as Buffalo Bill in “Heads or Tails?” — a surreal Italian Western film that blends frontier drama with Italian folklore.
At the dawn of the 20th century, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show rolls into Italy, peddling the myth of the American frontier and sparking the imagination of Rosa, a young woman trapped in a stifling marriage to a powerful and violent landowner.
When a rodeo between American cowboys and Italian butteri ends in tragedy, Rosa flees with Santino, the daring local rider who bested the Americans. But in a world where justice is sold to the highest bidder, Buffalo Bill and others join the hunt for the bounty on Santino's head. Rosa's dream of freedom quickly collides with the weight of reality — and like in every good Western ballad, fate flips a coin.
“Heads or Tails?” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre April 17-23. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 17, 18, 21 and 22 at 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Monday and Thursday, April 19, 20 and 23 at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Gardener” showing April 17-23 at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.
After the loss of her husband and father, Sabena Weathers (Radha Mitchell) fights to preserve her family’s cosmetics empire while facing a hostile takeover. Seeking refuge, she retreats to a remote mountaintop garden cottage, where a chance encounter with a simple gardener (William Miller) sparks a powerful journey of love, self-discovery and transformation.
Rooted in quiet mystery and emotional truth, “The Gardener,” explores loss, healing and the courage to realize one’s true self. It all begins in the garden; magically, metaphorically and serendipitously.
“The Gardener” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres April 17-23. Showtimes will be Friday, Sunday and Wednesday, April 17, 19 and 22 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, Monday and Thursday, April 18, 20 and 23 at 4:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 21 at 3:30 p.m.
