FORM & FACE: Abstract Bodies and Masked Identities
April 24th – May 31st, 2026

This dynamic exhibition features the work of acclaimed artists Zarco Guerrero and Kevin Titzer, exploring the intersections of abstraction, the human form, and identity. Through sculptural masks, figurative assemblage, and evocative materials, Form and Face challenges viewers to consider how identity is constructed, concealed, and revealed. Join us for the opening reception on April 24, 2026, and experience this bold exploration of body and persona.

We invite you to volunteer at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park!

The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-
style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotel
at the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hot
and cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology and
design of the time.
Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.
The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.

Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

The Flagstaff Folk Festival will take place June 13-14. We are seeking music-loving, smile-wearing, laugh-inducing, easy-going, community-minded folk to fill a variety of essential festival positions in these areas: Musician Hospitality, Sound & Stage, Safety, Set-Up, Workshops, Guest Hospitality, Media, Merch Team, Vendor Hospitality and Tear Down. All shifts are 4 hours or less. You will get a free festival t-shirt and free admission for the remainder of the day when you volunteer. Ladies Night is every Thursday in the Gopher Hole at the Weatherford, where we always offer something special for the ladies, such as discounted craft cocktails, food sales, rotating events, and raffles.

Come grab one of our famous Giggle Waters for $5 and an exclusive item off our tapas menu made just for you, and let the tea spill! On the second Thursday of each month, we will feature KeriOKe with Kerri from 9:30pm to midnight!

Irish Night, a new addition to Charly's legendary musical array, will take place every Thursday, 7-9:30pm in Flagstaff's Weatherford Hotel. It features Wild World Irish Fiddle, a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all the dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, as Kate teaches simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. There may even be drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers. What started out as a small production on a dirt lot, has today turned into a thriving local market with food vendors, art, fresh produce, and more! The Flagstaff Community Market is dedicated to providing an outlet for small-scale vendors the opportunity to thrive in our community by giving them a place to sell their local, sustainably grown food as well as other hand-crafted products. This market also promotes education in the community and works to encourage those in rural and urban parts in the city to grow their own food. The Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 and now has a partner market focused solely on supporting local artisans called the Flagstaff Urban Flea Market. Please come and enjoy each of the markets and discover what Flagstaff locals have in store for you!

Stop by the NACA Oak Creek Overlook Vista for beautiful & authentic Native American crafts! Our Artisans can also be found at the Grand Canyon Tusayan Museum!

The ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, in partnership with the Museum of Indigenous People, invites the public to experience “Journeys in Spirit 2026: Traditional and Contemporary Native Art.” This premier annual exhibition, held in Prescott, Arizona, is a free community event showcasing the rich cultural heritage and diverse artistic expressions of Native American artists. Running from May 13 through June 23, 2026, the showcase features a stunning collection of paintings, basketry, jewelry, photography, beadwork, and ceramics.

The exhibition highlights the extraordinary talent of artists with tribal affiliations including Hopi, Cherokee, Diné, Yaqui, Choctaw, Muskogee Creek, Yavapai, and more. Visitors will gain unique insight into the role of art as a vehicle for storytelling and the preservation of sacred traditions. Many participating artists live within their tribal communities, bringing authentic and powerful cultural narratives to this immersive gallery experience.

Event Location and Reception Details The exhibition is hosted at ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, located at 105 South Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ 86303. A special Artist Reception will take place during Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk on May 22 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This reception offers a rare opportunity for guests to engage directly with the creators, learning about their specific techniques and the personal stories behind their work.
