This event, known as parkrun, takes place every Saturday morning - same time, same place, same 5K distance. Run, walk, jog, walk the dog, push the grandchildren in a stroller, or volunteer - this event is free, for everyone, forever. It is an opportunity to get outside into the fresh air with a bunch of like-minded folks. It’s is worldwide. Every Saturday about 350,000 people all around the world are doing their own local parkrun. Visit our website and complete a one-time registration so your parkrun efforts can be recorded. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to diversified funding strategies tailored to today’s evolving federal funding environment. Learn how individual artists can collaborate with 501(c)(3) organizations through fiscal sponsorships, explore a range of funding opportunities, and discover approaches to developing collaborative, accessible, financially sustainable projects. The session will also cover how to build meaningful, strategic partnerships to support responsible and successful project execution. Participants will learn a few essentials of the federal tax code regarding those who receive grant monies, and how tax burdens fluctuate whether the recipient is a non- profit, a business, or an individual. This workshop will offer valuable takeaways to prepare grant recipients for filing tax returns.

The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-
style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotel
at the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hot
and cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology and
design of the time.
Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.
The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.

Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

Our monthly-guided geology hike will be held at 1:00 p.m on the 2nd Sunday of the month from October through May. The program starts with a presentation in the theater. Join our knowledgeable volunteers as they venture out on our trails and discuss how Sedona transformed into what we see today. The program typically lasts two hours and is included with park entrance fees.

Red Rock State Park is located at the base of the Mogollon Rim, the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau. The escarpment is over 200 miles long and ranges in height from 2,000 to 3,000 feet over the valley below. Over millions of years of erosion the rim has receded over four miles leaving behind the picturesque features of Sedona.

The Coconino County Cooperative Extension Program trains Master Gardener volunteers to provide free science-based horticulture information to our community. This includes information on plant selection, insects, plant diseases, planting, pruning, irrigating, fertilizing, and more. This is a 16-week training.
