The 3,817-acre Aubrey Fire started Tuesday near Route 66 northwest of Seligman. State forest officials believe it's likely human-caused as multiple starts indicate it was sparked by a dragged chain or something similar.

The Crooks Fire burning south of Prescott is now 29% contained after burning more than 9,100 acres so far. Current evacuations remain in place. Smoke is expected to impact surrounding areas Friday and through the weekend.
