Join NAU Art Museums at the beautiful Clara M. Lovett Art Museum on the 2nd floor of historic Old Main for an exhibit highlighting the works of the School of Art and Design faculty.

The show will be open February 17, through April 25, 2026. Tuesdays through Saturdays

We invite you to volunteer at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park!

The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-
style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotel
at the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hot
and cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology and
design of the time.
Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.
The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.

Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

Join us at Prescott Valley Public Library on April 2, 2026 from 4-5:15PM for an Az Speaks program, (Mother) Road to the Stars: Route 66 and Its Space Heritage, a unique journey down Route 66, not for the diners and neon signs, but for its surprising cosmic history. Along this iconic highway lie the birthplaces of space pioneers, key centers of exploration, astronaut training sites, the world’s best-preserved meteor crater, a famed UFO sighting, and museums celebrating our connection to the stars. In honor of Route 66’s upcoming centennial, Lowell Observatory Historian Kevin Schindler will guide a virtual trip along the Mother Road to uncover the fascinating space heritage woven into its mile markers.

Local high school student volunteers are available to help with homework packets, studying for tests, reading practice, math fact practice, or similar school assignments that your child brings in. Homework Help is available by appointment on Thursdays in the Youth area. Irish Night, a new addition to Charly's legendary musical array, will take place every Thursday, 7-9:30pm in Flagstaff's Weatherford Hotel. It features Wild World Irish Fiddle, a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all the dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, as Kate teaches simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. There may even be drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers. Prescott’s Phippen Museum is once again hosting the 10th Arizona Pastel Artists Association National Show. The exhibition and sale runs from February 28 through April 19, 2026. Creativity and unique subject matters spark this showcase of paintings full of rich, saturated colors that only pastels can achieve.

We invite you to the grand opening reception on March 14th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The reception includes a presentation by artist Karen Budan, a luncheon and an awards ceremony, which are open to the public and free of charge.

Paintings in the exhibition include landscape, still life, abstract and more, including western and local themes. Works from fifteen northern Arizona artists will be on display as well as artists from across the state and nation.
Nationally acclaimed and award-winning artist, Karen Budan, served as judge for the juried show. Karen is a contemporary still life artist, whose style ranges from realistic to highly photorealistic. Her paintings capture vivid colors, luminous reflections and extraordinary detail.
