Ash Fork Man Arrested Following Road Rage Incident

Coconino County Sheriff's Office

Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested an Ash Fork man for allegedly pointing a gun at a car during a road rage incident Monday.

Officials say Robert Burgess Jr. was driving a water truck on Hwy. 64 north of Williams when the driver of another vehicle tried to pass. Burgess allegedly pointed a gun at the car that also contained three young children. A fire chief reportedly witnessed him brandishing the firearm again during a stop.

Burgess faces multiple charges including aggravated assault and endangerment and is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Coconino County Detention Facility.
