KNAU Arizona Public Radio continues to integrate new audio software into both our news and classical services, resulting in some glitches. Thank you for your support and patience through this upgrade.

KNAU 88.7 is restored to full power. APS cut power to our system atop Mormon Mountain to service another radio station's electricity meter and restored it early Monday morning.

Shelly's 23-year career in broadcasting began in Flagstaff in the late 1980's. After graduating from NAU, she spent more than a decade working at Channel 2 - Flagstaff's NBC Affiliate - a reporter, news director, and ultimately, general manager. In 2000, she moved to Los Angeles, to become Lead Writer for the KNBC. From there, she continued her career producing and writing news in both the San Francisco area, and in Phoenix. In 2007, she returned to Flagstaff, joining KNAU in July of that year as Director of Underwriting, and most recently in September of 2013 accepting the position of KNAU General Manager. When not working, Shelly enjoys writing, creating metal art and jewelry, refurbishing old houses, and spending time with family and friends.
