This exhibition celebrates drawing as a shared practice rooted in collaboration, and creative exchange. Artists affiliated with the Hozhoni Foundation, a nonprofit serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, worked alongside invited artists to create the drawings presented here, responding to one another’s ideas, marks, and approaches.

Throughout the exhibit, a rotating selection of curated student projects inspired by these works will extend the dialogue through observation, interpretation, and response.

This event, known as parkrun, takes place every Saturday morning - same time, same place, same 5K distance. Run, walk, jog, walk the dog, push the grandchildren in a stroller, or volunteer - this event is free, for everyone, forever. It is an opportunity to get outside into the fresh air with a bunch of like-minded folks. It’s is worldwide. Every Saturday about 350,000 people all around the world are doing their own local parkrun. Visit our website and complete a one-time registration so your parkrun efforts can be recorded. Shop for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift and enjoy your favorite galleries at our annual Winter Market & Open House on December 5 and 6. A holiday market takes over the Museum’s Branigar Chase Discovery auditorium and Living Room, highlighting 25 Indigenous artists from the Colorado Plateau. They will showcase and sell their unique art, ornaments, jewelry, pottery, apparel, weavings, and more.

Bring the whole family—there will be winter storytime, crafts, and other activities for kids.

Admission to the Museum is free this weekend thanks to generous support from APS.

Step into the holiday spirit at Frontier Christmas, an evening of classic holiday merrymaking at Sharlot Hall Museum. This year, we’re extending our hours for even more Christmas fun! Join us from 3 PM to 8 PM for cookies, cider, crafts, and holiday traditions.

Luminarias will line the Museum walkways as visitors make their way from building to building, meeting Living History interpreters, visiting with Father Christmas, and trying their hand at Victorian-inspired crafts. Families can pick up a holiday greeting card created on an 1865 printing press in the Print Shop or experience an early Prescott school lesson, complete with slates and slate pencils, in the Schoolhouse.

The Ranch House will fill the air with the delicious scent of freshly baked cookies, while the Governor’s Mansion tree sparkles with the nostalgia of vintage holiday decorations. Throughout the evening, Father Christmas will visit the Museum campus to help usher in the holiday spirit.

Children and adults alike can create Christmas crafts to take home, and everyone can enjoy a warm cup of cider and a cookie. The Museum Store will also be open with thoughtfully curated gifts from local artisans, perfect for completing your holiday shopping.

You are invited to The Fezziwig Ball!

FlagShakes's annual winter fundraiser is presenting The Fezziwig Ball at Beaver Street Theatre. With activities for the whole family, this event is taking place on Saturday, December 5th, in between the matinee and evening performances of A Christmas Carol, our co-production with Theatrikos Theatre Company performed at the Doris Harper-White Playhouse.

Join in on activities like choosing your own Dickensian name, a Hanukkah candle lighting, Christmas tree decorating, and learning a period dance! There will also be a donation drive for Toys for Tots, and a silent auction that will benefit FlagShakes.
