The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the death of a Chandler man who’d gone missing at Arizona Snowbowl over the weekend.
Officials say search and rescue crews found the body of Vsevolod Predtechenskliy yesterday in a tree well off an in-bounds ski run at the resort.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety had conducted an infrared flight and a ground search and recue team with Snowbowl eventually found the body.
Predtechenskliy frequented the resort and was last seen Saturday morning in Chandler. He spoke with family from the Snowbowl later that morning and his vehicle was found in a resort parking lot.
The death is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and Coconino County Medical Examiner.
