North Kaibab Trail

Several popular trails in Grand Canyon National Park are closed indefinitely due to a chlorine leak in the Roaring Springs area on the North Rim.

The North Kaibab Trail will be closed for survey work from north of the Manzanita Day Use Area to the Supai Tunnel starting Monday.

All reservations for 2024 and beyond will now be made on Recreation.gov. Previously, applicants had to submit their applications by fax and wait months for park staff to manually consider thousands of requests.
