Irish Night is a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all you dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, and we will teach simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. We may even throw in some drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers.

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with award-winning surround sound composer and producer Koz Mraz for the Alan Parsons Surround Sound Music Experience on Thursday, July 3 at 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
You will be blown away by this audio/visual 5.1 Surround Sound Music Experience featuring the music of Alan Parsons in Sedona’s best sound system, the Mary D. Fisher Theater.
At the age of 18, Parsons went to work as an assistant engineer at Abbey Road. He earned his first credit on The Beatles’ Abbey Road. He engineered Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), for which he received his first Grammy Award nomination. Alan went on to create the Alan Parsons Project and released 12 studio albums, winning one Grammy Award and 13 Grammy nominations.
Presented by Award-Winning Surround Sound composer/producer Koz Mraz (Discus Award, 5.1 Category 2001, Communicator Surround Award 2002, Aurora Surround Award & Surround Grammy nominee 2005). A College Professor at Citrus College, Glendale, and Pasadena College, Mraz taught classes in music production, audio engineering, and broadcast technology for over 15 years.
He offers educational presentations via the Fair Use Doctrine of the U.S. Copyright Statute. Under the fair use doctrine of the U.S. copyright statute, it is permissible to use portions of a copywritten work for purposes such as commentary, criticism, and education.

Wondering what to do for summer break? Come to the Highlands Center for Nature Camp!Campers will spend all of their time outdoors, learning about different field sciences. Campers will go from being ornithologists to chemists, to entomologists to anything in between. We will explore, play games, take part in team building, and craft and discover more about the Central Highlands around us. There are limited spots in each age group, register soon!
Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. This program is included with park entry fee.
