Over the weekend of October 3-5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the Prescott Area Artist Studio Tour will showcase 78 juried artists across 55 private studios, as well as additional artists in four Art Centers, throughout the Prescott/Quad-City area. This beloved annual event offers attendees an opportunity to visit with the artists, observe their creative processes and purchase one-of-a-kind works of art from many different mediums, ranging from painting and ceramics to jewelry and glass. Attendees of this free, self-guided event may begin at any location and visit as many studios as they like. This year’s Tour will feature exciting new additions, including the Phippen Museum as an Art Center and “Beyond the Studio: The Artist Tour Preview,” an exhibit of Tour artists’ work on display from August 21 through September 21 at the ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery (105 S. Cortez Street in Prescott). For detailed information, visit www.PrescottStudioTour.com.
Each year, attendees of the Prescott Area Artist Studio Tour report that one of the most intriguing aspects is the opportunity to observe artists as they actively demonstrate their craft. This experience allows attendees to learn about the materials, techniques and processes used in creating a work of art, while forging a personal connection with the artists.
The Prescott Area Artist Studio Tour is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that strives to educate the public about how and why artists create their work. Supported in part by the City of Prescott, the Prescott Area Arts & Humanities Council and the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the Tour also fosters an appreciation of the arts and promotes art education.
Prints. People. Power
Clara M. Lovett Art Museum
September 15 - November 27, 2025
Tuesday - Saturday 12:00 - 5:00 PM
The Clara M. Lovett Art Museum at Northern Arizona University proudly presents Prints. People. Power., an exhibition celebrating the bold visual voices of artists from across the American southwest as well as Central and South America who harness the power of printmaking to address pressing social, political, and cultural issues while also celebrating our shared humanity. Featuring works from the museum’s permanent collection, we focus on artists from three organizations: the Taller de Grafica Popular (1937), the Movimiento Artistico del Rio Salado (1978), and the Arizona Print Group (1990s). The exhibition enables visitors to explore how artists utilize the democratic medium of print to amplify marginalized voices, inspire dialogue, and foster connections across borders.
