A free science pub lecture series by the Arboretum at Flagstaff to connect our community with local scientists!

Come enjoy a pint with us at Mother Road Brewery on the third Wednesday of each month while learning about the latest research in the ecological sciences!

Join us for a special sensory story hour for all voices in our community! On the third Wednesday evening of each month, enjoy an interactive telling of a story and participate in sensory activities. If you have an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device, please bring it. For families and kids of all abilities. No registration required.This story hour is presented with support from FidgetPockets, with additional funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.

In this month’s Gardening Talks with Yavapai County Master Gardeners, learn about landscaping with native plants. In this talk, learn what plants are native and the importance of using native plants in your home garden. We will discuss which native plants are popular to plant for landscaping. Irish Night is a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all you dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, and we will teach simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. We may even throw in some drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers.
