Join us for our 29th year! "See your neighbors. Meet your farmers. Know your food." The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 4 through October 31, 2026. This market hosts local farmers, ranchers and food and craft vendors each week. Customers can find fresh specialty produce, meat, seafood, eggs, bread, baked goods, delicious ready-to-eat foods and more. As a vital part of the economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. We accept cash, credit, debit and FMNP coupons for WIC/CSFP, and DOUBLE EBT/SNAP benefits! *Pets/support dogs are not allowed at the market. Early morning is when the gardens truly come alive — and there's no better way to experience it than on a guided bird walk with Dr. Celia Holm. Wander the Arboretum as the birds begin their day, with an expert guide to help you spot and identify them along the way. Bring water, your camera, and comfy shoes. The walk starts promptly at 7:30 AM and is limited to 15 participants, so reserve your spot early!

Curious about the thinning done through the Four Forest Restoration Initiative? Join library staff as we explore a section of forest that was thinned one year ago. This hike will take place on logging roads and will be ~2 miles long.
What you'll need: transportation to and from the trailhead, water, snacks, sun protection, and shoes for hiking. Please no dogs on this adventure.
How to get there: head out Highway 180 past Snowbowl Road, in ~1 mile turn right on Round Tree Road. Drive up Round Tree 1 mile and park. We'll meet you there!

Local flavors and community pride return to Flagstaff Mall in July as the East Flagstaff Community Market brings together regional vendors, artisans and small businesses for a lively day of shopping and connection. At Forest Magic Camp and Forest Fridays campers join a group of young explorers for an introductory wilderness experience that builds comfort and confidence with outdoor, camping, and hiking skills while developing strong, unique, and inclusive friendships.
Campers learn to support each other and share in their challenges and victories as they get their hands dirty learning about Coconino County forests, animals, and geology.
At camp, they get to test their skills with slack lines, hammocks, hiking, and bouldering all while enjoying the fun of place-based outdoor crafts and the company of many caring adult and teen Trail Wizards and trail Wizards in Training dedicated to exploring the magic of the forest!

Join Arizona Watchable Wildlife Experience as we learn about Flagstaff's Gunnison’s prairie dogs, a species native to grasslands in the Four Corners region. See prairie dogs (and maybe their pups!) in the wild.
