In partnership with the Navajo Nation Museum, Coconino Center for the Arts presents a free public screening of Sǫʼtah Anaaʼ: Siih Náhásdlįį, the Navajo-language dub of Star Wars: A New Hope.⁠

Presented as part of NightVisions: AMBER, the screening invites us to consider our relationship to the stars through a distinctly Diné lens—bringing together language, culture, imagination, and the night sky.⁠

Irish Night, a new addition to Charly's legendary musical array, will take place every Thursday, 7-9:30pm in Flagstaff's Weatherford Hotel. It features Wild World Irish Fiddle, a blend of authentic, dreamy melodies, stomping jigs, and reels with world and Latin twists, as traditional fiddler Kate Rose joins forces with masterful multi-genre guitarist Armand Ramirez. Result: an intoxicating fusion and original, deeply rooted musical experience. The icing on the cake: all the dancers out there will love getting down to the fiery sounds, as Kate teaches simple Irish dance moves and configurations to liven your party. There may even be drinking games or drinking dances. Lovers of Ireland and all things Celtic will connect with poetic interludes and stories from Kate's years in County Clare learning among the fiddling farmers. Award-winning recording artist Rita Lim makes her Sedona debut with “Make It With You … Yesterday Once More” — a captivating new concert celebrating the timeless music of Bread, The Carpenters & More.

This special concert will take place at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m., presented by the Sedona International Film Festival.

Recognized for her warm, expressive voice, elegant stage presence, and heartfelt storytelling, Rita has established herself as one of today’s distinctive concert artists. A headlining performer at Myron’s at The Smith Center in Las Vegas, she has also appeared at acclaimed venues and performing arts centers across the United States, earning praise for her fresh interpretations of beloved songs and her genuine connection with audiences.

Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. The program is included with park entrance fees.

Join an Arboretum staff naturalist for a one-hour morning walk through the gardens, exploring the native wildflowers that have adapted to thrive in this rugged, high-desert landscape. Learn the stories behind the plants that call the Colorado Plateau home — where they grow, how they survive, and why they matter.

Unhurried, unscripted, and endlessly worth seeing.

Please bring water, a camera, and comfortable walking shoes.

Chair yoga allows you to do yoga regardless of your ability, and will help you build and keep your strength, flexibility and balance. Instructor Lori Wallach has been teaching yoga for over 14 years, and has experience teaching all kinds of yoga, from power yoga to meditation. Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library. 

Ages 8 to 17 Swing by the community room at the East Flagstaff Community Library to play games and table top games! 

Take a rare behind-the-scenes tour of our Easton Collection Center. Explore cultural artifacts, natural specimens, and breathtaking art. Learn how the collections are cared for and used in a marvel of environmentally friendly and culturally informed architecture. Each tour is limited to 14 people for a truly personal experience. Tour fee: $15 for museum members, $20 for non-members, free for tribal members.
