Join us for an exciting morning as we explore the fascinating world of Gunnison’s prairie dogs, a species native to the grasslands of the Four Corners region. This FREE event, hosted by the Arizona Watchable Wildlife Experience and Habitat Harmony, offers a unique opportunity to observe these incredible creatures (and maybe even their pups!) in their natural habitat.

Learn about the important role prairie dogs play in the ecosystem and discover how they benefit the surrounding environment. Our knowledgeable guide from Habitat Harmony will share insights into prairie dog behavior, conservation, and the ways we can help protect them.

This event is perfect for wildlife lovers of all ages! Don’t miss the chance to connect with these wild neighbors at Campbell Mesa!

We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Campbell Mesa Loop Trailhead (Forest Service Rd 790, Flagstaff, AZ 86004). Binoculars will be provided.

We'll share the fastest growing plants for fast screening. Block unsightly neighbors, enhance your view and cut noise and light pollution. Design experts are on hand for unique situations.

Are you ready to feel more confident using your smart device to support your health and well-being? Join us for a friendly, hands-on workshop designed especially for seniors who want to learn how to safely explore and use medical and wellness apps on their smart devices.

Whether you bring a laptop, tablet or smartphone it’s welcome! During this session, we’ll guide you step by step through the process of installing and updating helpful apps that can track medications, manage doctor appointments, monitor heart health, or even remind you to stay hydrated. We’ll demo some of today’s most useful health tools and show you how to use them with confidence.

This isn’t a lecture, it’s a conversation. You’ll have time to ask questions, get satisfying answers and even follow along with your own device in hand. No rushing, no jargon, and no such thing as a silly question — just a supportive space where you can learn at your pace, with others who are doing the same. Our goal is to help you feel more in control of your health by using the tech you already have.

The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-
style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotel
at the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hot
and cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology and
design of the time.
Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.
The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.

Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Mr. Blake At Your Service” showing July 18-23 at Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.

“Mr. Blake At Your Service” is a French romantic comedy starring John Malkovich, Fanny Ardant, Emilie Dequenne, Philippe and Eugenie Anselin.

Mr. Andrew Blake — a recently widowed ultra-successful British businessman — by happenstance takes a job as a butler in a manor house in northern France in a bid to get closer to the memory of his late French wife.

His life takes an unexpected turn as he finds himself befriending not only the household staff but the charming lady of the house as well.

“Mr. Blake At Your Service” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres July 18-23. Showtimes will be Friday and Wednesday, July 18 and 23 at 3:30 p.m.; Saturday and Monday, July 19 and 21 at 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday and Tuesday, July 20 and 22 at 7:00 p.m.
